Twangy opened the curtains one day,
And didn't really know what to say.
Out in the garden, under a tree
He couldn't believe what he could see.
A big white mouse with floppy ears.
'He's here! He's here!' and out they raced.
The Mouster Bunny they stood and faced.
'Hello!' He cried. 'Happy Mouster to you!
I've laid a trail for you all to do.
In the garden dotted around,
Lots of eggs will soon be found.
Each one has one name written on.
Find your name - see what you've won'
The mice started searching high and low.
They moved the rake, the spade, the hoe.
Fiddlina yelled, 'Oh I found one!'
Tucked under the shed and out of the sun
An egg with a name on it in red.
She picked it up. 'Sachmo' it said.
The bunny put his
paw in his sack
And pulled out an egg, striped red and black.
Sachmo's eyes were all aglow.
'Stripes!' he said. 'How did you know?'
'Come on everyone! There's more to find.'
Bongo pulled back a hedge - with an egg behind!
He looked at the name.'Fiddlina!' he cried.
The Mouster bunny looked in side
His bag and what do you know.
Pulled out an egg in the shape of a bow.
Fiddlina took it with a sigh.
'Perfect,' she said with a tear in her eye.
The triangle trio were down in the shed,
Being careful not to bang their head.
They moved the lawnmower and what did they see?
'Bongo!' they yelled! 'Oh is that for me?'
The bunny delved with a mouster hum
And pulled out an egg in the shape of a drum.
Bongo took it. 'Oh thank you!' he cried.
And carefully took his egg back inside.
'Come on you mice. Still lots to find!'
Right near the fence some ivy was twined.
Lying at the bottom Keys saw
An egg. 'I wonder who it's for?'
He picked it up. 'I say, that's rich.
It says is for Tupper, Tina and Tich!'
They clapped their paws and closed their eyes,
And when they looked oh what a surprise!
Three eggs all in triangular shape.
They stood and looked with mouths agape.
'They really are the best,' Tich said,
While Sachmo fell in a flowerbed.
'Ouch!' he yelled. 'That really hurt.'
And he pulled out an egg, covered in dirt.
'It's covered in earth. it's hard to see.
Twangy!' he said. The mice clapped with glee.
The next egg was shaped like a big bow tie.
'How wonderful!' said Twangy, and held it high.
'Still two left so don't stop now.'
Twangy looked with furrowed brow.
He checked the bird table. 'Over here!
This one's for Quiffy!' He gave a cheer.
'Oh such fun!' and Quiffy waited
To see what the bunny had created.
'My word!' he said as a chocolate quiff
Appeared from the sack. 'That's awfully stiff!'
'We still have one more egg not found,'
And they walked about looking at the ground.
Quiffy cimbed the apple tree.
But nothing around it could he see.
He looked up and right before his eyes,
An egg, just like an apple in size.
'I found!' he said. 'This one's for Keys!'
'What's he got! Oh show us please!'
Key's egg was a wonderful sight.
Made out of chocolate, black and white.
'Like the keys on my piano,' he gave smile.
He looked at the eggs lying in a pile.
'Thank you Mouster bunny indeed,
How clever to know what we'd all need.'
The Mouster bunny gave a hop.
'Your very welcome.
Now I can't stop.'
And off he went right down the road
With more eggs for Mouster to unload.
'Well,' Fiddilina picked hers up,
'How about we go inside for a cup
of tea and taste our Easter treat.'
And they went inside, their eggs to eat.
